As you may know, yesterday afternoon the Senate approved an amendment to strip an Arctic Refuge drilling provision from the Senate Budget Resolution. The vote to remove the provision was 52-48 and represents a great, though temporary victory.

Following is a list of Senators with how they voted (a łY˛ is a vote to protect the Arctic, an łN˛ is a vote to drill). Each member is listed by state, party, name and vote, respectively. Please take the time to thank your Senators if they voted in favor of the amendment -- it's possible another attempt will be made this Congress to include drilling so we must make sure our supporters feel appreciated for their position. Thank them by either calling or sending an email snail mail is still an unreliable communications method on Capitol Hill. To reach by phone, contact the Capitol Switchboard, 202-225-3121.

Thanks for your calls and let me know if you have questions! - Evan
