4th Annual Essay Contest: "Why are Amendments 5 & 14 of the Constitution Important?"

Prizes up to $1000 are offered to Brevard County [Florida] high school students in grades 9 through 12 for the Essay Contest  "Why are Amendments 5 & 14 of the Constitution Important?" 
         
The contest is sponsored by Citizens for Constitutional Property Rights, in conjunction with Falcon Realty, Kantner Foundation, Property Rights Legal Foundation, S & S Enterprises, Sterling Casino Lines, and Sutherlin Olds-Cadillac-Nissan-Isuzu. 
         
First prize is $1,000.  Second prize is $500, third place is $250.  There will be three cum laude awards of $50, plus two $100.00 teacher awards.  Awards will be made at a dinner at Patrick Air Force Base Officers Club on February 20, 2004. 
         
Scheduled due date for the contest is December 5, 2003.  Applications are available through the schools or 453.6154. Tax-deductible donations may be made to CCPR Education Foundation, P.O. Box 540575, Merritt Island, FL 32954.
